We’re almost ready to launch our Best Practice Charter in collaboration with The Local Trades Council
With help from the Hull & District Trades Union Council, we created this Best Practice Charter with the aim of fostering a more supportive working environment for those living with endometriosis. We aim to help employers gain a better understanding into what life is like living with the condition, whilst trying to balance work and health needs, and the things they can do to help their employees achieve this.
The Best Practice Charter will provide;
-Training from ourselves to become an “Endo Positive Workplace”
-Information on what Endometriosis is, how it is diagnosed and what medications/treatments are currently available.
-Guide you in how to start implementing the charter into your workplace, the benefits of signing the charter, the requirements to fulfil your obligation to the charter, templates for risk assessments and reasonable adjustments.
You and your employees will also have access to HEY ENDO for all support needs and extra training when required.
Your employees, diagnosed or struggling with symptoms of Endometriosis, will also be invited to join our private support group, where they can speak to other people with endometriosis to gain advice and support whenever it is needed.
For more information, including how to sign your workplace up to the charter, please email us on info@heyendo.co.uk
